Its the little things that count. The small things add up to bigs things down the road. No one becomes a champion over night. The best athletes in the world work on the small things everyday. Whether it be improving your strength in the gym or focusing more on your technique on the track, its the little things that will add up overtime to make a big difference.
Do you take care of your injuries? Do you seek medical advice/treatment or just hope it will go away?
Do you put in 100% effort at training?
Do you perform every drill correctly?
Do you complete every run at the required level of intensity or do you hang back to save a bit for later?
Do you get enough sleep?
Do you eat right?
Do you train with other athletes that motivate and inspire you?
Are you being honest with yourself? If not its time to take a look in the mirror…..
