Although there is not a lot of research around to conclude the benefits of hill running it doesn’t take many sessions to realise just how good they are. Not only will you walk away feeling like you have just been run over by a bus you will get one of the best workouts you can do in about 25 minutes.
For more serious runners the benefits are: Increased knee drive, reduced risk of hamstring injury due to not being able to over stride, leg strength, and increasing running power. Not to mention your cardio will be smashed. 🙂
